Signed Partnership agreement between development agencies of South East Europe

On Saturday, 12 March 2016 a ceremonial signing of the Partnership agreement between development agencies of South East Europe took place in the Pazin Castle, Pazin, Croatia. The Agreement was signed with the purpose of establishing a Consortium of development agencies of South East Europe.

 

The signatories of the Agreement are the Development centre of the Heart of Slovenia from Slovenia, as the initiator of the Consortium, Centre for development of the third North-East Planning region Kumanovo from Macedonia, Agency for regional development of AP Vojvodina from Serbia,  Regional Development Agency for Bjelašica, Komovi and Prokletije from Montenegro, Regional Development Agency for Herzegovina (REDAH) and Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency (SERDA) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albanian Investment Development Agency from Albania, together with two development agencies from Croatia - Regional Development Agency of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County DUNEA from Dubrovnik and Regional Development Agency Srce Istre from Pazin, which was also the host of the meeting.

The newly established consortium will focus its activities on the cooperation in the implementation of development projects in the represented areas, the exchange of experiences, as well as networking with the aim of greater visibility and stronger appearance in front of institutions and funds of the European Union.

During the two-day stay in central Istria, apart from attending work meetings aimed at defining concrete project proposals, representatives of partner institutions visited the Pazin Castle and were introduced to the activities of the Agency for rural development of Istria, Central Istria tourist board and LAG Central Istria.
